Monday men's golf at PC ~~ nothing great to report, followed by pool time and happy hour
Tuesday, Mary and I went up to Phoenix to pick up our friend Bev, who is visiting for 10 days.her flight was delayed, so got home just in time for happy hour
Wednesday, Mary and Bev golfed with the PC Ladies, later hung around the pool , read, swam, and hot tubbed. Brian & Chris came up for happy hour
Thursday usual golf at Dave White GC, weather was sunny but a cool wind made us keep the sweaters on.
Friday - Mary and Bev did some shopping, then after lunch we went to Francisco Grande, Afternoon golf was a bit slow, so when we finished the front 9, we went back out and played the front again, much faster with no one in front of U. Later we looked for a place to have dinner, BUT every place we looked was busy, ended up at Culvers , a fast food franchise. Saw quite a few friends and neighbours from the park "dining out"

Saturday - Headed down to Tucson, went to the Taylormade store at the Outlets, but was not in the market for new equipment. Then we went to Old Tucson , the film set where "Little House on the Prairies" " Bonanza" and lots of John Wayne films were shot. Back just in time for happy hour at our neighbours. http://oldtucson.com/

This week we had the whole gambit of weather... Started out with sun, then had fairly nice weather mid week, but a bit windy, now the weekend is Rain :☹🙍☹☹
Start of the week at the north pool, Palm Creek. Had the monthly craft fair on Tuesday, lots of stuff (or "landfill items" as my friend Barry calls them) to buy, I got a pair of $8 sunglasses.
Quarry Pines GC, Tuscon Az. 48 golfers from the park went down to play this tough course.. I was happy to break 100
Mary played in the ladies 18 hole club on Wed and her team managed 1ST place Low Net .. she's in the $$$
Friday after golf at Quarry Pines we went out for dinner with Barry & Alana , Brian & Chris, it was there we decided to share the POWERBALL - $349 million - haven't heard if we won L.O.L.

Saturday the parks wood working and quilt shows were on, lots of talented people here.. after that we did some laundry and read while listening to the rain.
Today Sunday is Canada Day @ Palm Creek `~ Tim Hortons coffee and doughuts, loonie tosses, trivia games - it was held in the ball room as outside is too wet.
The band was 50's Oldies, lots of good music, and the CUP CAKES [in the shape of Canada Flag] were pretty good too

Later we all went to an Italian place, almost walked out as the "decor" was sketchy, BUT everyone agreed that the food was GREAT..who knew!!
Wednesday. Mary played in Ladies PC, as I said the weather was so nice, we went to the pool, and swam, and sunned.
Thursday, my weekly trek to Dave White GC with the PC hackers ~ didn't play great but lots of fun...
Golf road trip on Friday, we met Jim and Milana 1-1/2 hrs away at Saddlebrooke (east of Tuscon) Took a shortcut thru the Catus Forest ~ had to pause on the road while a herd of cattle meandered thru. After golf we hit the Cadillac Chapperal Restaurant and Saloon. This place is 25 miles from nowhere, but always busy and u can get a 16 oz steak complete with salad, beans and baked potato for $15

Another Week ~~gone
Febuary 5th~~The time is going by Quickly, not too much to report. Life in the RV is great now thatevery day when we wake up the sun is out. The park sure filled up Feb 1st lots of rigs rolled in, we got new neighbours, now our street (Sunset Mesa Lane) is full >> 5 of us from BC
Sunday _ 9 holes of golf with the PC crew, then drinks and appies at some ex PCers who have a home in Mission Royal (10 min away)
Monday - yep golf again with the Men's club - took 4th place.
Tuesday - Arizona City GC - I golfed in the AM and Mary went with some girls from the park in the afternoon. Arizona City was our "go to" course a few years ago, but had fallen down the rankings a bit, we had heard it improved, and yes it had, but still not enough to make it a regular stop.
Wednesday, Ladies golf for Mary in the AM, errands for me..
Thursday - golf for me at the local muni course with the park guys.
Friday - start of Cancer Awareness in the park, lots of activities, rubber duck races, pancake breakfast, Hot Air balloon fest, silent auctions, softball, tennis, shuffleboard, and pickleball tournaments.
Old Kitimat friends Dennis and Willa McElroy came down from Mesa. Had a good time - dinner at the Olive Garden, checked out all the park activities,..met some of thier Prince George friends who are on our park and enjoyed drinks around the fire.
